This is the online home of award-winning children's author, Anne Bustard. Her newest picture book is BUDDY: THE STORY OF BUDDY HOLLY, illustrated with watercolors, pastels and inks by Kurt Cyrus.

BUDDY: THE STORY OF BUDDY HOLLY won the 2005 June Franklin Naylor Award. It was also an IRA Children's Book Award Notable for 2006, a Bank Street Best Books of the Year selection, a Triple Crown National Award (Children's Gallery) Nominee for 2006-2007, and a finalist for the 2005 Teddy Children's Book Award.

On August 1, 2006 Anne launched her blog, Anneographies. She writes about her fave picture book biographies, birthday by birthday.

Anne is also the author of the popular Texas alphabet book, T IS FOR TEXAS.
